Legends of the Fall
Legends of the Fall is produced with truly die hard deer hunters in mind. Legends of the Fall chronicles the high-energy hunts and behind-the-scenes action of a dedicated crew of passionate hunters. While the show spotlights a dynamic variety of adrenaline-pumping whitetail bow hunts across North America, it also offers a mix of other big game adventures. Shot in a format similar to the hit series "24”, each episode details the lives of all six "clan” members in their tireless, year-round pursuit of all-things whitetail. From shed hunting and food plot planting to pre-season scouting and the harvesting of giant trophies, Legends of the Fall promises to feed viewers whitetail addiction.
Eric Hale started filming professionally in the outdoors in 2004. He brings years of experience to the table as a hunter and has considerable experience developing compelling story lines, shooting creative camera angles and delivering professional production. Eric resides in Galax, VA, with his wife Sharon & daughter Lexi where he is employed as a Virginia state probation and parole officer.
Chris Ward has been an avid outdoorsman since his youth and grew up hunting with his Dad and Grandfather. Chris started filming professionally in the outdoors in 2004. Chris resides in Hillsville, VA with his wife Mary and children, Taylor, Logan and Cole. He is employed as a Virginia state probation and parole officer. Both Eric and Chris have conducted numerous seminars & appearances as well as radio spots, and appeared on the Outdoor Channel in two different television series prior to hosting Legends of the Fall.
Mike McFerrin, a Texas native, has been an avid archery hunter for over twenty years. He has taken numerous Pope & Young trophy whitetail bucks, including the Texas state record velvet buck that scored 215 3/8 gross and 197 5/8 net. He has volunteered his time with the Texas Youth Hunters Program in cooperation with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, and serves as an official Texas Big Game Awards scorer. Mike resides in Kingwood, TX with his wife, Bonnie & children Christian, MaKenna & Georgia-Kate.
Raised in the great state of Texas, Bonnie and Mike married in 1994 and while she knew about his love of the outdoors, she never intended to hunt for herself. Over the last nine years Bonnie has harvested several Pope & Young bucks, including the current Texas state record for a female archer, which scored 195 5/8 taken in 2008. Mike and Bonnie have appeared on the Outdoor Channel in two different television series prior to hosting Legends of the Fall.
After a year in college Mark Luster joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Now Mark has approximately 1,700 acres that he is strictly managing where his hard work in the outdoors has already paid high dividends. Mark resides in Ramsey, IL with his wife Amanda and children Michayla, Faith and Hunter and is employed as a correctional officer at Vandalia Correctional Center.
Dave Bogart started hunting years ago when he was twelve years old and from that point on Dave was hooked and at age 20 he harvested his first P & Y buck. In the fall of 2006, Mark Luster talked him in to picking up a camera and it was like starting all over again. The first year with a camera was rough, but he kept at it and the following year he found success and was able to kill mature bucks on film. Dave resides in Brownstown, IL with his wife Kristin and is employed as a correctional officer at Vandalia Correctional Center.
